My name is Emily Rose Alice Weasley. I’m a seventeen year old girl who blows out her candles on the fifth of February every year in a small town in Delaware, United States. I have a younger sister in the sixth grade and an older brother in his freshmen year of college.

I’m a girl of many fandoms. I’m a tribute, witch, Shadowhunter, Dauntless, and a demi-god. One day my own Doctor is going to come rescue me from this town I call my home and show me places I have only ever dreamed of seeing.

Some of my favourite TV shows include Doctor Who, Castle, Sherlock, Merlin, Legend of the Seeker, Pretty Little Liars, American Horror Story, Grey’s Anatomy, and Fringe. Occasionally I will post one or more of the above, but this blog is mostly the Hunger Games.

I love to express my feelings through the written word, song, and acting. I spend most of my time (when I’m not doing schoolwork or tumblr) on a stage. The theatre is where I’m most comfortable. It’s the only place I can be truly happy with myself and others. Theatre is my whole life and I would not be here without it to calm me down.

I’m currently writing two novels, three plays (one 3 act and two one acts), and one screenplay. I hope one day to get a book published or a play of mine on the stage.

One of my goals in my life is to be in a Broadway production. I have a lot of work to do before I can get there, but I’m willing to go through what I have to in order to complete my dream. As well as a minor the dramatic arts, I want to double major in English (creative writing) and child psychology in college. Another one of my goals in life is to change someone’s life. I really want to go to Africa with Doctors Without Borders some day in my life (if I ever go through medical school) because I feel like I could make an impact.

I love to read more than anything. Some of my favourite works include:

  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
  • Gone by Michael Grant
  • Delirium by Lauren Oliver
  • Graceling by Kristin Cashore
  • Vampire Academy by Richelle Meade
  • Divergent by Veronica Roth
  • Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  • Looking for Alaska by John Green
  • The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
  • The Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray
  • Any Jane Austen novel
  • Othello by William Shakespeare
  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare
  • Hamlet by William Shakespeare
  • The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
